Science and Technology

Let’s embrace Technology
Science is about what is and engineering is about what can be.
Science and technological innovations have brought prosperity to our lives. We all intuitively understand the term “quality of life,” but we have difficulty in attempting to define it.
The importance of technology lies in its omnipresence and widespread use; be it Hi-tech automated machines, computer technology, cellular communication, satellite communication, all of these have become an integral part of our lives. Considering the rapid pace at which technology is advancing it has become necessary for us to understand its importance in order to keep up with the racing time.
The most important finding about the functioning of human brain is in its untapped and unused infinite capacity to think and learn new things. Each one of us can tap a bit of this capacity by embracing technology.
As children learn faster and adapt to changes relatively easy, with proper exposure and training during their school years, they have high chances of becoming experts in technology. Studies have shown that children conversant with technology show improvements in their reading, writing, mathematical skills also helping them in their college and graduation years. It is a misconception that technology should be studied by students studying sciences but the fact is that it is beneficial in all fields be it arts or commerce. Remember, technology can be a boon or a curse. The cause, how and where it is used is all equally important as technology itself. We not only need to make good technocrats but the need of the hour is young minds who are amplifiers of truth, databases of good deeds, rectifiers of mistakes and transmitters of kind acts.
We at ECube, always need to remind ourselves of the breadth, the depth and the importance of engineering as a whole to HUMAN EXISTENCE, HUMAN PROGRESS and HUMAN HAPPINESS.
