Opening match of the World Cup at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday

India defeated Bangladesh by 87 runs in the first match of the 2011 Cricket World Cup on Saturday at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

India put on a mammoth 370 runs of board thanks to superlative batting performances by Man-of-the-match Virender Sehwag, who scored 175,  made Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan regret his decision to bowl first on a placid wicket, hitting 14 fours and five sixes,
and Virat Kohli's unbeaten 100.

But contrary to the expectations of the Indian fans Bangladesh managed to deliver under pressure and scored 283/9 before they ran out of balls.

India's first victory in the World Cup this season has put cricket fans in an ebullient mood.

  7. VALUE OF A WOMAN:
This couldn't be said more beautifully....
Be careful not to make a Woman cry,
    b'coz God counts her tears....
A Woman came out of a man's rib,
Not from his feet to be walked on,
Nor from his head to be superior over,
but From his side to be equal......
Under the arm to be protected,
andnext to the Heart to be loved!!!******
    HAPPY WOMENS DAY................ .
